Lora Disuore is the flatmate of Emily Eriksson, who, for her new job at Timmy's ToyCo moved to Autumn Bay, NY, USA.

Both being young foreigners who are new in this exciting big city, they get along quite well so far - if only Lori wouldn't have the weird quirk of occupying the bathroom for obscenely long times...

[Edit: Changed her name, because it accidentally was too similar to that of a similarly themed DC character. Grumble...]

Yep, she's pulling a Clark Kent, complete with the glasses!

(BTW, oh crud: While I was aware that there exists a mermaid character who is Superman's love interest, only just now - because I looked her up - I realize that I came up with an all too similar name! Damnit... I may have to change at least her surname... OK, changed her name now.)

Hmmm. I wonder what she could be doing in there. Maybe she's really an alien trying to take over the world, and she modified the bathroom as a secret passageway to her evil lair!!!!

Haha, my ruse was successful! ;-)

When she'll show up in my comic (eventually), I bet you'll be easily able to sympathize with her flatmate Emily, because she'll likewise be unaware about her true identity for a long time! :-D

That's a familiar posture there. Does her human form have a lot of uh, quirks? You say bathroom, does she have to shower like 2 - 3 times a day to stay hydrated??

The idea is rather that she likes to spend much time in the bathtub, where she can just be her natural self.
Imagine it like slipping into very comfy clothes in your off-hours, after having had to wear a rather constraining outfit all day at work.

Regarding other quirks: Like her famous namesake, she also has an enchantingly wonderful singing voice. (She is a mermaid of Jay042's Sisterhood, they have a sonic weapon anyway.)

My thoughts exactly...

Makes me wonder if the DC writer derived his character's first name from the same earlier public domain story as I did...

Also, it seems said writer wasn't just some rando, but the co-creator of Batman!
