Aertes is the son of Elsinore's renowned field surgeon, Dr. Polo. The youth often feels sidelined by his father's important work and has enrolled in the Junior Infantry in a desperate bid for his father's attention. Aertes will likely go quite far in the Junior Infantry (and eventually the Elsinore Light Infantry) regardless of whether Dr. Polo notices or not.

28mm is a sci fi parody comic about the brave troops stationed on the remote ocean world of Thalassia Prime. The series is primarily an excuse to show off models and custom terrain while making really bad jokes.

Thank you! He was a lot of fun to paint (I actually have a second version painted up with a different style base).

I'm glad you picked up on Polo not even bothering to look away from his work.

They're not Boy Scouts, they're Planetary Coalition Junior Infantry.

Actually, Reaper Miniatures makes a whole line of modern miniatures for whatever you might need them for. I originally bought him to use as part of my juvenile zombie-fighting crew for 7TV. But that game fell through...
